Alyssa’s patients invariably say that their hygiene appointments are like a relaxing walk on the beach. With an oceanfront view like hers, how can you go wrong? When not fighting the evils of plaque and the intricacies of calculus, you can find her resting in ‘savasana’ (it’s a yoga pose) (occasionally involving goats) or running miles around town. Having recently moved to the area, let her know if you know of any delicious places to eat or fun things to do around town.
Emma always dreamed of becoming a stay at home dog mom, but when that wasn’t paying the bills, she decided to go with Plan B.
Emma is not only a graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program from Hudson Valley Community College, she is also certified in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Administration. She was awarded the prestigious Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award, the Academy Award of Dental Hygiene, which is awarded to, “a student who has achieved high standing in clinical dental hygiene demonstrating clinical excellence.” To her, patients and their well-being are of utmost importance. Being able to provide patient centered care in a warm and caring environment is what she strives for every day.
When she is not in the office, you can usually find her exploring new food ventures, traveling, or hiking with her little dachshund, Oskar.
Our resident hot sauce aficionado, Jean is a professional miracle-worker, a dental insurance guru and puts the fun back into refundability. If anyone can problem solve a plan to finance your dream-smile, it’s Jean. She’s an avid crafter, enjoys camping and little league coaching and is super-mom of twin teenagers. Ask her about her “grand-chickens.”
Katie’s first dream at a young age was to write a full-length novel. She wanted it to be a best seller and maybe eventually Steven Spielberg would make it into a worldwide hit movie. Unfortunately, she is still writing chapter one unsure of what to name the characters. She is now the sweet, soothing voice you hear on the phone when calling to schedule or check in for an appointment. She is still learning the ins and outs of the dental field, but she has got a great team of teachers to help.
Paige has been working in orthodontics and general dentistry for the last 9 years. Although fairly new to the practice she has been enjoying working by her superhero sidekick’s side, creating beautiful smiles and making her patients feel like rock stars!
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart and their two-year-old princess. She also likes to shop till she drops, craft till the sun comes up, get lost in romance novels, and binge-watch the hallmark channel.
