December is finally here. The last month of 2020. This has been the most different and challenging year most of us faced in a lifetime. Typically, we are all overindulging in holiday parties and endless amounts of eggnog and cookies. Gathering to sing carols and holiday concerts. Well, this year may not hold some of our regular traditions, but we have found some ways to still get together with our loved ones. Parties virtually filled with laughs and smiles but we are remaining safe. Porch drop offs full of goodies and gifts. At our office, we have spent the last 9 months making numerous changes to keep you and our staff as safe as possible.
With only a few weeks left of the year, there may be a lot about our dental health that we have put off and overlooked. With benefits expiring soon, there is just a short time to use up what you have left for this year. Dental cleanings need to be done twice a year along with checkup x-rays to have the best oral health. In a middle of a pandemic, it may not be the top priority, but you do not want to fall behind with your oral care. We have been taking all precautions possible to keep our office COVID-19 free. Every patient is given a wellness check at the front door and prescreened before arriving. Our standards of exceptional care have always been high, and we are continuing to go above and beyond for you and us.
When you are finishing up your shopping lists this year and thinking about giving, please keep us in mind. We are collecting new gloves, hats and scarves for The Capital City Rescue Mission of Albany, NY. We hope to keep a lot of men, women and children warm this winter and need our wonderful patients to help us. We raised over 200 items that were donated for our Thanksgiving drive a few weeks ago. A huge thank you to all our patients that contributed and helped us lend a helping hand in our community.
We hope you and your families have wonderful holidays and most importantly be well and be safe. We will see you soon. Happy Holidays from your friends at 1021 Dental!
